Lego in ear story

It's not a great story really.

Just a simple story of a child playing with lego, who then decides for some reason to put that piece of lego into his ear.

Then he runs to Mummy to tell her.

Then Mummy tries to get it out with tweezers only pushing it in further.

Then Mummy puts that child and that child's big brother into the car and drives to the nearest hospital which is only 1km down the road.

Then lovely Dr pulls out exceptionally long tweezers with tiny crocodile like snapper nose at the end and pulls out the piece of lego whilst that child's mother holds on tightly to that child who is squirming and crying and whilst that child's big brother is also crying in sympathy towards that child who looks to be in immense pain but in fact is feeling nothing at all, if only he stopped squirming and realised that fact.

Now that piece of lego is not white, it's kinda yellow. So this photo isn't actually the piece that was in the ear, that piece accidentally got chucked out as it was embarrassingly and quickly wrapped up in a piece of tissue and thrown into my handbag, then I forgot it was wrapped up in a piece of tissue and cleaned out my handbag.

Anyway you didn't really want to see a ear waxy piece of lego did you!
I wasn't on the ball to get photo of it slightly sticking out of that child's ear. Pulling out my camera wasn't on my mind right then.

So that's it.
Lesson hopefully learnt.
That child doesn't like Dr's so I'm imagining he will never ever do that again!

oh dear - so glad you didn't stop to take a photo when it was in his ear! The part I can't believe is how quickly you clean our your handbag! That tissue would have stayed in mine for weeks and weeks.

Oh OUCH! Poor you - I know he wouldn't have liked it either, but it's hard work for mum trying to soothe both the victim and the sympathizer!

doesn't bear thinking about! At least wasn't shoved up his nose! A friend of ours persuaded my brother to shove peanuts up his nose when he was little!!! tee hee I had forgotten that until just now! Too funny for words! A doctor friend had to get them out with toothpicks.

Sounds like that was a real drama. You must have needed a good g&t after that.
Isn't Levi just gorgeous getting all upset for his brother.
